I'm not feeling optimistic about this blog. We are too busy enjoying new sights and experiences to take time to write. Perhaps we'll just wait until we return and hope our many photos remind us of everything we want to report.
In the meantime, Facebook is a quicker way to post photos and brief comments. Check back here later in case you're not on Facebook, and one of us finds time to post here.
Vieux Paris resembles other historical cities, like Greenwich Village or old Santa Fe, the streets running off in all directions and intersecting at odd places and angles. A good map is our friend. There are so many tourists wrestling with maps that we can blend in.
The trip from Tucson to Paris was seamless. We even made our one hour connection from the domestic to international terminals in Atlanta with time to spare -- much better than last year's itinerary that included 3 hours in Houston and 5 in Frankfurt.
